Product Features:
- The PEI sheets provide a 3D printing build surface that doesn’t require tape, slurry, or adhesive. ABS and PLA adhere extremely well, eliminating the need for support rafts.
- PEI is an amber transparent solid. Without additives, it demonstrates low inherent flame retardancy and smoke. With an oxygen index of 47%, it achieves the UL94-V-0 grade and a density of 1.28~1.42g/cm3.
- This material has high temperature stability, and maintains good toughness and strength, even in non-reinforced PEI.
- It exhibits excellent mechanical properties, radiation resistance, durable high-low temperature resistance and wear resistance, and can transmit through a microwave.
- PEI is also characterized by its flame retardancy, chemical resistance and electrical insulation.
Instructions for Use:
- Before use, ensure to remove the teal colored protective film on both sides of the sheet.
- Score with a hobby knife to cut the PEI sheet to size. For attaching the PEI to the print bed, you can either use binder clips (2 on each side work great), or 3M 468MP Transfer Tape.
- After successfully attaching the PEI sheet, re-level your print bed to prepare it for use.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the PEI surface by periodically wiping it down with isopropyl alcohol, methyl alcohol, or soap between prints. Light sanding with 5000 grit paper can prolong the life of the PEI sheet.
