The SONOFF MINIR2 is an upgraded two-way DIY smart switch, designed with improved safety and performance features. Unlike its predecessor, the MINIR2 showcases an internal antenna, eliminating the potential risks associated with the external antenna of the older MINI version. The S1 and S2 interfaces have been designated in gray to differentiate them from other interfaces, as a reminder not to connect them to high voltage.
This gadget excels in safety, surviving a 2KV surge test, thus bypassing the 1KV surge test standard required for the CE certification. It’s also ANATEL certified, providing safe and dependable utilization.
Specially designed to fit various switch boxes, the MINIR2 is compact enough to adjust even within the smallest EU standard switch box.
This device is capable of automating a range of home appliances, controlled via eWeLink app on your smartphone or voice commands.
It supports 3 triggering modes, namely pulse mode (for compatible push button switches), edge mode (for SPDT switches), and following mode (for switches with ‘ON’ and ‘OFF’ labels and sensors with dry contact output).
The DIY mode, developed for third-party integration, enables you to incorporate MINIR2 into global third-party open-source smart home control systems such as Home Assistant, openHAB, ioBroker, etc., for local area network (LAN) control sans cloud service.
