Activating Your Device
To switch on your device, simply press and hold the power button for more than 1 second. You will see the word “POWER” appear, signifying that your tool is ready for use. To deactivate the device, press the power button once again.

Adjusting Sensitivity Level
When you initially turn on the device, it will be set to a low-sensitivity mode. However, if you prefer a different setting, just push the sensitivity switch or flashlight button for less than 1 second. A “S” icon will appear for the high-sensitivity option, and if the light is off, you are in low-sensitivity mode. Remember, the high sensitivity range is between 12-1000V and the low-sensitivity range is from 48-1000V.

Utilizing the Flashlight
To activate the flashlight, press and hold the sensitivity switch or flashlight button for more than 2 seconds. Turn it off in the same manner.

Automatic Power-Off Feature
This tool makes battery management a breeze with its automatic power off feature, which activates if it’s been inactive for 3 minutes, preserving precious battery life.

Detecting AC Voltage
By bringing the probe near the AC voltage, the pilot light turns on. Analog phase & data will then fluctuate based on the voltage, affecting the sound of the buzzer. A signal below 36V prompts a green light, whereas signals above 36V illuminate a red light as an indicator of potential danger.

Identifying Live and Zero-Lines
Normally, to distinguish between the zero and live lines, you should examine the two (or three) lines. The live line will display a larger data amount while a smaller number denotes the zero or earth line.

Please note:

  • If you encounter an irregular socket design or circuit, making line distinction impossible, proceed with caution.
  • For closely placed zero and live lines, test them separately to avoid confusion.

Displaying Voltage
As this is a non-contact device, data may fluctuate based on environment and proximity. Be aware that if the voltage exceeds AC220V, the display will max out at 220V despite the actual voltage being higher. Always handle with caution when dealing with high voltage.
