How it Works
Carbon monoxide alarm is convenient and easy to install and operate. This device has an advanced level of protection that uses a battery to work. It has a digital display that is easy to read even in low light angles. It shows the level of carbon monoxide it senses in the air. There are two LED colors that you will see here. There’s a green LED that flashes every 30 seconds which indicate that the device is working correctly. The green LED also flashes before it reads the carbon monoxide in the air and when you press any button on the device. The other one is the red LED that will alarm loudly when a dangerous level of carbon monoxide is present in the air. The alarm has a pattern of 4 short beeps followed by 5 seconds of silence and followed by four short beeps with red LED flashes correspondingly. The cycle will continue for 4 minutes until the device resets or the gas eliminated
Where to Place the Device
There are a few recommended places where to install this device in your home. According to the National Fire Protection Agency, this device should be fixed: outside the doors of sleeping areas, on each floor of your house or anywhere that is required by local laws.
