The GTmedia V7 Plus Satellite Receiver operates in accordance with the DVB-S/S2, DVB-T/T2, and MPEG-2/4 H.265 standards, making it perfectly compatible with SCPC and MCPC signals from both C/Ku band satellites. It has a switch protocol that features DiSEqC1.0/1.1/1.2/USALS Motor with full support, and 13/18V DC/400mA maximum overload protection and 0/22K. It is capable of programming 10,000 channels for TV and Radio, with 16 different favorite group selections.
In addition, the product supports multiple languages, a 7-day EPG (Electronic Program Guide), and features a 128 color/8bit On Screen Display. It supports the use of JPEG, BMP, PNG images, and supports NIT Search and automatic network search for new transponders.
Channel editing functions are comprehensive, including adding or deleting channels, moving or locking them, assigning them as favorites, or sorting them based on preference.
Parental controls are available for channel access and the product is designed for a Plug & Play installation with an easy-to-use Menu System. Automatic PAL/NTSC conversion is supported, alongside software upgrades via USB or RS232 ports.
The device allows for recording on one channel whilst viewing on another on the same TP. Subtitles and teletext can be accessed in accordance with DVB EN300743 and EBU standards and DVB ETS300472 via VBI & OSD respectively.
Time can be set either manually or by GMT offset automatically, with daylight savings support included. A total of 5 event timers are available in off/once/daily/weekly modes. USB 2.0 supports FAT/FAT32/NTFS big capacity hard disks and is available for PVR, TIMESHIFT, and media files playback.
