Product Specifications:
The HS1010 model is fashioned from robust plastic with an attractive red finish. The measurement range sprawls from 200/2000/20000/200000Lux to 20/200/2000/20000Fc. Its repeatability and resolution are ±2% and 1Lux/0.1Fc, respectively. The meter has an accuracy of ±4%±10dgts at 10000Lux and measures at a rate of approximately 2.0 times/sec. Power is supplied through 2xAAA batteries (that are not included in the package).
Step-by-Step Guide to Using the HS1010 Illuminance Meter:
Begin by switching on the power, then proceed to uncap the light detector cover and position it horizontally on the chosen measurement area. Choose the fitting measurement gear. If ‘1’ solely appears at the left end of the display, it implies excessive illuminance and the range key needs to be pressed to calibrate the measurement multiple. Once you do this, the illuminance meter starts functioning and shows the illuminance value on the display. The continuously live display data can be locked once it becomes fairly steady by pressing the HOLD key. The observed reading can be captured and recorded – it would be the product of the displayed number and the range value. For instance, if ‘500’ is the display number and the status is “×2000” at the lower right corner, the resulting illuminance measured value would be 1000000lx (calculated as 500×2000). The reading lock function can be deactivated by pressing the lock switch again. Every single observation should be supported by three consecutive readings and records. Once the measurement is complete, turn off the power, pack the light detector cover, and store it away safely in its box.
