For platinum plating, the positive (+) electrode is a titanium mesh, while the negative (-) electrode is the jewelry piece. The optimal temperature for this process is between 30-40°C. The entire platinum plating process takes between 90-120 seconds. Please note that the items being electroplated need to be gently agitated at the start.
For gold plating in 14K, 18K, or 24K, the positive (+) electrode is a titanium mesh, and the negative (-) electrode is the jewelry. The temperature should be between 70°C-80°C. The gold plating process takes between 20-50 seconds, and the items being electroplated need to be gently shaken. This process can accommodate 1 to 4 ring pieces at a time.
The necessary accessories for electroplating include a beaker, titanium mesh, gold plating machine, water line, electric furnace, and thermometer.
For silver plating, the positive electrode is a titanium mesh, and the negative electrode is the jewelry piece, which should be cleaned according to the electrolytic cleaning salt program, with 3 channels after electrolysis. The beaker should be cleaned with 2.5 g of 54% silver salt in 500 cc of distilled water. The temperature should be 40°C, the voltage 5V, and the plating time 3-5 seconds. Please note that all silver salts, electrolytic cleaning salts, and over-beaker cleaning must use pure distilled water.
