The LYM-DM300 microphone is compact and lightweight, designed to deliver a clear, directional sound. Its main pickup area is centered in front of the microphone and is designed to attenuate ambient sounds to help reduce distracting background noise. Users can choose between the cardioid and super-cardioid directivity to eliminate ambient noise effectively.
The cardioid directivity reduces ambient sound as well as sound reflection from the microphone, while the super-cardioid directivity is especially useful for close range.
The low-cut filter in this microphone can reduce low-frequency noise below 80Hz, which helps in eliminating external sounds produced by things like blowers and fans.
Included is a PAD function that amplifies the sound source by an additional +10db, improving the clarity and details of the recording. This can be fitted to the sound environment required by the user. A low cut-off filter is also provided which can switch on and off the low-frequency wind noise for the most authentic sound.
The microphone is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack that allows users to monitor the recording to ensure normal operation.
