Product Overview:

  1. This product is a Stepper Motor Driving Controller, designed for generating a pulse which serves as a signal for stepper drivers necessary for controlling stepper motors. It needs to be paired with a driver for operation.

  2. A simple control platform can be created with an Easy controller, stepper driver, stepper motor, and DC power.

  3. The controller comes with three types of frequency signals, specifically 5.4k-160khz, 540-16.6khz, 80-2.4khz. The desired frequency signal can be selected via the skip stitch feature.

  4. This module supports the generation of both a pulse and PWM signals and permits skip stitch selection.

  5. Frequency measurement can be conducted through the two ports of PUL and common-cathode (or common anode).

The signs on the stepping motor driver ports may vary, but the function remains the same:

  • EN = ENA = FREE: Enable
  • PUL = PULS = CLK: Pulse
  • DIR = CW = CWW: Direction

Common Anode Connection (to be connected with B):

  • EN+, PUL+, DIR+ are all linked together to common anode port
  • EN- connects to EN
  • PUL- connects to CLK
  • DIR- connects to DIR

Common Cathode Connection (to be connected with B):

  • EN-, PUL-, DIR- are all linked together to common cathode port
  • EN+ connects to EN
  • PUL+ connects to CLK
  • DIR+ connects to DIR
