This product is compatible with specific models for direct plug-in, including the Ender3, Ender3S, Ender3 pro, Ender3 V2, and Ender5. Models that require a modification to the motor wire terminal, such as the CR10, CR10 S4, CR10 S5, and VORON, can also utilize this product as long as a mounting bracket for this extruder is available. The step value is adaptable for all models.
Precautions for use:
- Adjust the extruder’s drive current to 0.35A to prevent overheating of the motor. This can be achieved by adjusting the voltage to approximately 0.28-0.3V or by modifying the E-axis drive current in the firmware.
- The extruder pulse can be modified using one of two methods:
Method 1: Modify the extruder pulse in the firmware to represent the following values: #define DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT {80, 80, 400, 655}
Method 2: Send a G code command (can be transmitted via slicing software): M92 E655 and M500.
