Increase or decrease voltage levels by pressing the up or down button respectively. Should you find yourself in the PD state, both the up and down keys serve as the up cycle test function. Test current remains independent of the test board; your adapter determines it!
Boasting a large USB male, MICRO, TYPE-C, D+/D- inputs, this tester supports QC3.0/QC2.0/MTK/FCP/IWATT tests. The output USB socket directly connects to your load/resistor. Fitted with a code switch, the USB Tester in the 000 state only tests voltage and current without the addition of D+/D-.
When there’s no load current, the battery grid remains inactive. However, upon the presence of a load current, the battery grid gears up into action! Multiple PD test types are available, from 3A-cy2211 reaching voltages of 5V 9V 12V 15V 18V 20V, to 5A-cy2211 with voltages as high as 5V 9V 12V 15V 16V 18V. You can even engage with multiple brands like ASUS, Apple, UGREEN, and more!
For a quick charge test, connect the USB male to the charger or mobile power output port. Alternatively, utilize MICRO as an input port (be sure to use a fast-charge data line when connecting!). The output port glows orange and can be paired with a high power resistor or a load meter to adjust the load size.
The JL-001 test board, compatible with this USB Tester, fully supports a 5A current test. It integrates five fast-charging protocols: QC2.0, QC3.0, MTK, IWATT, FCP. Be sure to match the white dial switch settings with your product’s fast-charging protocol before initiating a test.
To check if your protocol handshake was successful, observe the display voltage changes during testing. The load adjustment size will determine the display current.
