The VideoMic GO is a unidirectional microphone that extensively employs a supercardioid polar pattern. This helps in decreasing sounds from the sides, and thus, produces a signal that appears closer to the camera. This is particularly useful when filming in loud environments or at reasonable distances. The product comes equipped with an integrated shoe mount that offers a 3/8″ thread for more mounting possibilities. Also included are a foam windshield and a 7.9″ dual mono 3.5mm coiled output cable.
