The L30 headphone amplifier uses the NFCA (Nested Feedback Composite Amplifier) module, a technology derived from the flagship A90 model. This Voltage Current hybrid feedback system coupled with UHGF (Ultra High Gain Feedback) technology lends exceptional DC and AC performance. The amplifier shows a high output current drive profile, making it capable of easily driving low impedance headphones.
The performance ceiling of the L30 is determined by the APX555B. This structure allows the amplifier a wide range of adaptation to headphones. The L30 boasts a high voltage swing of 26Vp-p, a power of 3500mW per channel when both channels are active, and an output impedance of less than 0.10hm. As a result, this product can effortlessly drive power-hungry headphones with diverse impedance.
There are 3 step gain settings that can be adapted to suit headphones of various sensitivities. Moreover, when the NFCA modules of L30 switch into preamp mode, the output impedance lowers to 20ohm. Such versatility makes it ideal for use with a wide array of devices. The L30, when in preamp mode, pairs exceptionally well with active monitors like the E30 DAC.
