Description: The DuetWifi serves as an advanced 32-bit electronics device intended for the control of 3D printers and other CNC machines. It is similar to the Duet Ethernet, but it provides WiFi connectivity instead of ethernet. The PCB revision v1.03 is the latest version which includes several changes from its predecessor, PCB revision v1.02 such as the addition of a miniblade fuse in the Fan MOSFETS’ VIN supply, the fusion of TMC2660s Stall Guard outputs to MCU and a few minor routing modifications. You can find the source files on https://github.com/T3P3/Duet/tree/master.
Features:
The DuetWifi boasts of a powerful 32-bit Processor, a dedicated Wifi module, and ultra-silent TMC2660 stepper drivers which can contribute to 256 microstepping. It comes with a high-speed SD card and also supports a second SD external card if need be. The main board carries dual extruders which can be expanded up to 5 more extruders via the expansion board. Each stepper driver is capable of 2.8A motor current which is restricted by software to 2.4A. The device also hosts a bed heater channel ideally designed for high current (18A).
Users can connect to the device via PC, tablet, or smartphone on the same network to access its on-board web interface. All setup and firmware updates can be completed through this interface. It supports all commonplace 3D printer geometries and can be expanded to support up to 7 extruders with firmware support for mixing nozzles and remapping axes to use high power external drivers. Furthermore, the device is compatible with PanelDue, a full-colour graphic touch screen.
The DuetWifi package includes Molex compatible plugs and crimps as well as ferrules for power and heater terminals.
