It provides precise positioning and holds ​the load firm when ​halted, making‍ it ideal for applications such as‌ plotter and printer mechanisms, dynamic lighting setups, and mirror mounts. Though smaller and generally lighter than models such as the NEMA 17, the NEMA 14⁣ stepper‌ motor’s power is not determined by its size.
