The TMC2225 is the advanced successor to the TMC2208, offering all the functionalities of its predecessor but at a more cost-effective price. A noteworthy distinction between TMC2225 and TMC2208 lies in their packaging. While the TMC2208 is supplied in a QFN package, the TMC2225 comes in an HTSSOP package, thus endowing it with superior heat dissipation capabilities.
