The MINIR2 is a revamped version of our MINI two-way DIY smart switch, featuring enhanced safety measures and improved performance. Unlike the old version MINI which had an external antenna with high voltage, the MINIR2’s antenna is seamlessly integrated within the interior, ensuring safe usage. Furthermore, we’ve color-coded the S1 and S2 interfaces in gray to differentiate them from input and output interfaces and to ensure you do not connect them to a high current.
Exceeding the CE certification requirement of 1KV surge testing, the MINIR2 underwent a 2KV surge test and passed the ANATEL certification, reinforcing its commitment to user safety. Despite being compact, this smart switch can easily fit into different types of switch boxes, even the smallest EU standard switch box.
The MINIR2 allows users to automate home appliances via the eWeLink app on their smartphones or through voice commands. It supports 3 triggering modes: Pulse mode (works with push-button switches), Edge mode (works with SPDT switches), and Following mode (works with switches with “ON” and “OFF” marks and sensors with dry contact output).
For developers, the MINIR2 supports a DIY mode allowing integration into the world’s various open-source smart home control systems for LAN control without cloud service, such as Home Assistant, openHAB, and ioBroker.
