Unlike its previous version, which had an outwardly visible antenna, the antenna of the MINIR2 is fully concealed within its interior, boosting user safety and peace of mind when operating connected devices.
Key identifiers of this switch include the interface labels S1 and S2, which are distinguishably colored gray. This deviation from other input and output interfaces serves as a reminder to avoid connecting high current to these interfaces. The MINIR2 has successfully passed a 2KV surge testing that far exceeds the 1KV surge testing standard required for CE certification. By also passing the ANATEL certification, this device reassures you with an extremely safe usage experience.
The compact nature of this smart switch makes it perfect for all types of switch boxes, including the smallest EU standard switch box. You can easily automate your home appliances through the eWeLink app on your smartphone or via voice command.
The MINIR2 supports three triggering modes: pulse mode (compatible with push-button switches), edge mode (compatible with SPDT switches), and following mode (compatible with switches marked “ON” and “OFF” as well as sensors featuring dry contact output).
Notably, the device is equipped with a DIY mode specifically for developers that allows MINIR2 to be integrated into various third-party open-source smart home control systems for LAN control without cloud service, like Home Assistant, openHAB, ioBroker, and more.
