Product Features:
This heat shrink tubing comes with a sleek surface that has a standardized thickness. It has no noticeable spots or traces of oil, impurities or folds. An interesting feature of this product is its heat shrinking capability. When tested at 100°C, the tube’s horizontal shrinkage was marked at 48 ± 3% and vertical shrinkage was 12 ± 3%, meaning it fits closely to the product. You can use a conventional heat shrinking machine or simply rely on a handheld hairdryer or water for the shrinking process.
Flexibility:
This tube is highly durable. After shrinking, it remains intact when dropped on a cement surface three times from a height of one meter in varying directions.
Color:
One of the top features of this heat shrink tube is its color stability. Even after shrinking and subsequent storage at 30°C, the color stays the same and does not discolor or fade.
Tensile:
The tensile capacity of this tube is quite excellent with a benchmark set at not more than 2%.
Water Absorption & Natural Shrinkage:
Both the water absorption and natural shrinkage rates are less than or equal to 0.5%, making this an ideal product for multiple uses.
Resistivity & Electrical Performance:
It boasts of a large resistivity, standing at ≥1 × 1015Ω / cm3 (with relative humidity less than or equal to 65% at room temperature). The breakdown voltage breakdown time varies according to the layer thickness: for 0.07 ~ 0.09 it’s ≥ 6KV & decDC10; for 0.10 ~ 0.14≥8KV & decDC10; 0.15 ~ 0.20≥10KV & decDC10.
