It’s at 380°C that damage starts to set in, causing rapid oxidation and loss that detrimentally affects the heating core life. Therefore, we strongly suggest a working temperature ranging between 300-380°C to safeguard your tool and accomplish most of your tasks effortlessly.
Please note that initial temperature readings might tend to fluctuate, this is normal and does not impact the use. The soldering iron in this kit comes with a brand new iron tip that might register unstable resistance leading to a jumping temperature display or an ERROR message initially. After a few uses, the fluctuations will subside, and the iron would stabilize.
