Meet the GY series, a set of fruit sclerometers capable of measuring the hardness of various fruits.
The GY-1 model is ideal for fruits with higher hardness levels like apples and pears. For fruits exhibiting lower hardness levels such as bananas and strawberries, you can rely on our GY-2 model. Lastly, for fruits falling in between soft and hard like watermelons and cantaloupes – GY-3 is your go-to.
Technical Specifications:
The GY-1 model operates on an indication scale of 2-15kg/cm2 (×105Pa) while the GY-2 model works within 0.5-4kg/cm2 (×105Pa). The GY-3 model can handle 0.5-12kg/cm2 (×105Pa) to 0.5-24kg/cm2 (×105Pa). These variation allows for an optimal fruit hardness testing.
As for the pressure head sizes, GY-1 and GY-2 use the Φ3.5mm, while the GY-3 utilises Φ8mm and Φ11mm. Their accurate results have a margin of error of ±0.1 (for GY-1 and GY-3) or ±0.02 (for GY-2).
The insertion depth stands at 10mm. The compact device size of 140×60×30mm and weight of 0.3kg makes these sclerometers handy and easy to use.
