The CAN OBD2/EOBD Code Reader delivers efficient and expedient diagnostics for all OBD-II compliant vehicles sold worldwide since 1996. Equipped to provide the same information as expensive larger scanners, this device is an ideal diagnostic solution for all 1996 and newer OBD-II compliant vehicles.
This Full OBD II Diagnostic Scanner tool has various functions including: reading and erasing engine fault codes, viewing freeze frame data, retrieving I/M readiness status, viewing vehicle information and performing OBD 2 tests. This tool enables you to understand your vehicle’s real-time status without visiting a car repair shop.
The Code Reader provides direct codes and their meanings. It retrieves both generic and manufacturer-specific Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC), vehicle information, identifies pending codes and views freeze frame data. Further, it can easily determine the cause of the Check Engine Light, includes dictionary lookup software on CD and displays DTCs on screen.
No battery is required for the operation of this device. It’s a plug and play tool, designed to operate by just plugging into the vehicle’s OBDII port.
The modern design includes a large easy-to-read backlit LCD screen, multilingual menu and DTC definitions. It comes with a standard 16-pin OBD-II connector, eliminating the need for additional cables.
The code reader supports automatic detection and interpretation of nine OBDⅡprotocols (full protocol), designed to support most gasoline vehicles. The supported protocols include:
