Instructions for Use:
- This product is convenient, easy to operate, and cost-effective. It’s designed for connecting consumables of various materials.
- Modify the ends of the two consumables that need to be connected.
- Insert one end through the larger end of the connector up to the scoreline. The other end should be inserted from the smaller end until 1-2mm is exposed.
- Apply heat with a lighter for around 5-7 seconds. This duration is primarily for PLA and ABS consumables. Tougher materials may require a slightly longer heating period.
- After applying the heat, immediately push the consumable through the small end towards the larger end. This process should be done slowly. Once the connector is visible, gently pull it back and forth a few times.
- Leave the consumables to cool. After cooling, push the consumable entirely through the smaller end until the joint is smooth and can be easily adjusted.
- To test the connection, bend the joint lightly, straighten it, and then repeat this process. The presence of a crisp sound indicates a successful connection.
- Finally, remove the bolt from the end of the lug groove of the connector, disassemble the consumables, and then prepare the connector for the next use.
Important Note: Avoid using this item in environments with flammable and explosive gas and dust.
