The product effectively reduces shock and comprises antivibration dampers that can be applied to most stepper motors. The dampers are composed of energy-absorbing rubber mounts with a metal mounting face. Stepper motors are often susceptible to resonance, a phenomenon caused by components vibrating in synchrony. This can, however, be significantly mitigated by fitting a stepper motor with an antivibration damper.
