Created from a non-stick, heat-resistant silicone material, these socks are effective against the accumulation of molten plastic. This feature is particularly beneficial when dealing with sticky substances such as Co-Polyesters and filled compounds that tend to stick to nozzles.
These socks also significantly improve temperature stability, especially when used with high airflow cooling around the nozzle to cool the print. By reducing heat radiation from the block and nozzle to the print and promoting additional cooling, these socks enhance the capability to produce impressive overhangs and bridges, while maintaining a very stable hotend temperature.
