Instructions For Use:
- Firstly, ensure the parts to be soldered together are clean.
- Secondly, tidy the soldering iron tip and apply a coating of solder to “tin” all faces of the tip.
- Proceed to heat the parts (not the solder) to be assembled.
- Finally, apply flux-core solder to the heated parts ensuring not to tit till solder melts me soldering tip, and heat it until the solder melts and flows freely.
Safety Precautions:
- Upon the first plug-in, smoke may emit from the tip of the soldering iron. This is normal and the smoke will dissipate shortly and will not reoccur.
- It’s recommended to utilize a soldering stand and other accessories to prevent burns.
- Try not to pull the soldering iron away, and other aids to circumvent burnt fingers.
- After the long-life tip face is finished, don’t file it. Also, avoid applying excess solder unnecessarily.
