Description
This battery equalizer is designed specifically for 12Volt Gel/Flood/AGM Lead Acid Batteries that are connected in series. It is utilized to maintain a balance in battery voltage. In situations where two or more batteries are connected in series and are in the state of recharging, discharging, or free status, variances in battery voltages may occur. One battery might exhibit high voltage while another might register low voltage. The battery equalizer comes into action when it detects a difference of 20mV between two batteries. By channeling current from the battery with higher voltage to the one with lower voltage, it equalizes balances the voltages until they are approximately the same. In turn, this improves the performance of the batteries and extends their usage duration.
