Features:
This product is a Stepper Motor Driver Module featuring a straightforward step and direction control interface. It provides five different step resolutions: full-step, 1/2-step, 1/4-step, 1/8-step, and 1/16-step. An intelligent chopping control automatically selects the correct current decay mode, either fast decay or slow decay.
The unit is designed with several types of protection to ensure reliable operation, including over-temperature thermal shutdown, under-voltage lockout, and crossover-current protection. It also includes short-to-ground and shorted-load protection features.
An adjustable current control allows you to set the maximum current output with a potentiometer. This feature makes it possible to use voltages above your stepper motor’s rated voltage to achieve higher step rates.
How to Use:
This driver needs a logical supply voltage (3 – 5.5 V) which should be connected across the VDD and GND pins, and a motor supply voltage (8 – 35 V) that should be connected across VMOT and GND. It can deliver up to approximately 1 A per phase without a heat sink or forced air flow.
Motor connections: This driver is capable of driving 4, 6, and 8-wire stepper motors provided they are connected correctly.
Package Contents:
The package includes one Stepper Motor Driver Module.
