Product Name: TMC2100 V1.3 Stepstick Stepper Motor Driver
The TMC2100 V1.3 Stepstick Stepper Motor Driver is featured with a drive current algorithm and regulation; its default Vref is approximately 0.65v, which means the default current is 0.5A and can reach a maximum current of 1A. The Vref indicates the measurement of Gnd and potentiometer intermediate voltage. Please note that the motor should not be connected when measuring voltage to prevent damaging the drivers. All voltage measurements should be conducted while switched on and not merely connected to the USB power supply. Make sure to place the TMC2100 drivers on the board in the correct direction.
Using the TMC2100 drive module: In instances of application with Ramps1.4, MKS Gen, or Lerdge touchscreen motherboard, remove the three jumper caps situated below the socket. Always ensure correct orientation. Attach the heat sink directly to the PCB. The motor direction contrasts with that of A4988 and DRV8825—if you wish to switch over to 4988, adjust either the firmware or the motor wiring. If using a Lerdge motherboard, set the motor direction on the motherboard’s setting page.
Also included is a Stepstick Smoother designed to eliminate printed marks produced by 3D printers and parallel arm structures. This component can effectively eliminate non-uniform waveform signals during low-speed operation for a more even signal waveform.
Features of the Stepstick Smoother include plug-and-play installation with no additional wiring needed.
