This product is an all-metal hotend upgrade kit designed specifically for MK10 style extruders. The thermal barrier tube is constructed from two different materials. The lower thermal break is made from stainless steel for extra durability, while the upper part is made from cooler aluminum. This design allows for printing at temperatures far higher than what’s possible with the original PTFE-lined extruders. When using MK10 extruders, this temperature limitation occurs at around 60mm/s, depending on the nozzle size.
