The RAMPS 1.4 Control Board provides an effective solution for managing Cartesian robots and extruder requirements. With this board, you can also control additional accessories as needed.
Featuring a heater/fan output and three MOSFET thermistor circuits, it is designed with user safety and component protection in mind. This is further enhanced by its 5A fusion and an 11A fuse for the additional bed heating control.
This control board is compatible with 5 Pololu stepper driver boards. Its Pololu board pin socket design allows for easy replacement or removal, making it adaptable for future designs. It comes with I2C and SPI pins for future expansion, while all MOSFET PWM pins provide increased versatility.
The board’s servo connector is designed to connect to the end block, motor, and light emitting diodes. These gold-plated connectors have a rated current of 3A. An LED is present to indicate when the heater output is active. Interestingly, you can connect 2 motors to the Z Prusa Mendel on this board.
The package includes a RAMPS 1.4 Control Board and 5 4988 drivers with a heat sink for optimizing performance.
