The Ramps 1.5 control board adopts surface-mounted MOS tubes instead of traditional plug-in MOS tubes, enhancing the board’s stability, aesthetics, and heat dissipation. The board’s design caters to expanded interfaces and part replacements, thus boosting upgrade capability and modularity. To operate the controller board, the pins on the board’s backside need to connect to the Mega, and the front pins must link to the stepper motor drives.
