Overview: The MKS Robin WIFI is a product developed by Makerbase. It is based on the ESP8266 module and is designed for use with the MKS Robin series motherboard. The primary function of this product is for remote control and monitoring purposes.
Features:
- The module automatically searches for a hotspot after powering on, and can directly connect to the hotspot via the screen.
- Allows for RepetierHost or Pronterface remote control, which provides an alternative to USB control.
- Utilizes the “MKS Plugin”, a specific tool developed by Makerbase for cura, to allow for cura remote control and file transfers. The transfer speed is 100kb/s.
- Can be remote controlled and transfer files through a PC or mobile phone’s browser interface (Still under development).
- The module is equipped with the “MKS CLOUD” APP, also developed by Makerbase, to enable users to control and monitor 3D printer in other locations.
