Product Overview:
The BIGTREETECH Ramps 1.6 plus is an upgraded adapter‌ ramps board ⁤designed to replace the old Ramps 1.6 driver. With the ⁤implementation of the SPI working mode, it solves ‌the complex wiring problem of its predecessor. ‍

Key Features:

  1. It uses ‌the plug-and-play‌ concept with the use of a jumper cap, eliminating the need for complex wiring and external wiring costs.
  2. It is designed to prevent the ‌motor from malfunctioning due to⁤ wrong wire ‍insertions‍ and avoid drive failure because of poor external ⁢wire contact during the printing process.
  3. Built-in selection terminal on the PCB allows it to support‌ both SPI and STEP/DIR modes.
  4. Power and heat bed​ parts use a 30A high current ⁤terminal,⁣ which greatly reduces the likelihood of burning terminal situations.
  5. Upgraded top ⁢and bottom overlay improves wire connection⁢ clarity.
  6. Inclusion of a reset expansion interface facilitates reset button⁢ extension.
  7. The X, Y, ⁣Z, E0, ⁣E1 interfaces⁤ all support parallel dual-motor boards.
  8. It utilizes a combination of color​ pin and row connectors, making each function interface distinct and aesthetically pleasing.

Operating Modes:
Ramps 1.6 plus supports⁣ SPI⁣ as well as STEP/DIR working ‍modes. They can be chosen‍ according to your requirement.

Precautions:

  1. The choice⁢ of driver working mode determines the⁤ firmware that needs to ⁢be programmed.
  2. When using a hotbed with power surpassing⁢ 140W,‌ ensure to install a MOS ​radiator to avoid overheating​ and burning.
  3. In case of a hotbed power exceeding 180W, choose a hotbed​ MOS ⁤module to minimize the ⁤risk of board damage.
  4. Maintain the power off condition while plugging⁣ or unplugging the drive‍ to avoid incorrect installations and hence, possible drive damage.

Driver Installation Skills:
Ensure to align the driver’s GND/DIRECTION to‌ the board’s GND/DIR for proper functionality.
