The SONOFF MINIR2 is a modified version of our MINI two-way DIY smart switch. This new design significantly improves safety and performance. A huge leap from our old version, the MINIR2’s antenna is fully internal, eliminating concerns about electric interference. In order to help mitigate potential risk, the S1 and S2 interfaces are color-coded gray, differentiating them from other input and output interfaces. This serves as a reminder not to connect a strong current to these interfaces.
The MINIR2 has passed a 2KV surge testing and also meets the 1KV surge testing standard required for CE certification. The product has also passed ANATEL certification, all of which attest to its safety for user experience.
Its compact size makes it a perfect fit for a variety of switch boxes, including the smallest EU standard switch box. Use this intelligent switch to automate your home appliances. Control them remotely using the eWeLink app on your smartphone, or with voice commands.
The MINIR2 supports three triggering modes: pulse mode (works with push button switches), edge mode (compatible with SPDT switches) and following mode (works with switches with “ON” and “OFF” markings and sensors with dry contact output).
The DIY mode caters to developers, allowing integration of MINIR2 into a worldwide third-party open source smart home control system for LAN control without cloud service, such as Home Assistant, openHAB, ioBroker, etc.
