This product is a wall scanner with a variety of features, designed to help you detect various items hidden within walls. It uses an intelligent microprocessor chip with high sensitivity for accurate and quick detections.
The scanner’s functionalities include detecting different types of materials, such as wood, pipes, metal and AC wires. It can also detect wood at three different depths: 1/2 inch (12.7mm), 1 inch (25.4mm), and 1 1/2 inch (38mm). Furthermore, metal can be detected up to 2.36 inches (60mm) deep and AC wires, up to 2 inches (51mm).
The wall scanner is equipped with an LCD display that provides a visual alert, indicating distance and direction of an object. To complement this, there’s an audible warning — a beep — emitted when the device has located something. The LCD display is backlit, allowing for clear visibility even in low light conditions.
One of this device’s special features is a wire warning indication. When you’re in stud scan, depth scan, or metal scan mode, the wire warning remains on to alert you of live AC power.
