Operating Instructions:

Charger Check: Connect the Battery Tester to the battery terminals (Red to Positive, Black to Negative). When the red light marked “Charger Check” lights up, it indicates that charging is complete.

Alternator Check: Connect the Battery Tester to the battery terminals and accelerate your engine to 2000 CPM. When the red light marked “Alternator Check” illuminates, the charging circuit is working correctly.

Battery Check: Connect the Battery Tester to the battery terminals. If the red light doesn’t react, recheck the connection of the clips to the battery. The red lights will show the approximate percentage of charge in the battery. (For accurate readings, ensure the battery has not been charged or discharged for a minimum of 30 minutes.)

Cranking Check: Connect the Battery Tester to the battery terminals, and as the starter motor operates, the red light marked “Cranking Check” should stay on.
