Process: Begin by lighting the torch (careful not to make the fire too small – it should easily burn the pipe next to the heat sink). Ignite the end (best done vertically, the torch slightly above, with blue flames). Apply the soldering powder to the electrode whilst heating during the burning process.
Incorporate the solder powder and try paddling at the required welding welding electrode. At the correct temperature, it should incorporate into the welding electrode as smoothly as water.
Should the electrode become non-stick, continue heating to the end. Take notice not to deliberately burn the electrode with the flame during the welding process or to keep it vertically burning. The melting temperature will determine the behavior of the electrode.
Once completed, you’ll find the electrode first melted under, a feature that can assist in the welding of very thin aluminum components. After welding, clean the soldering powder from the weld, and voila, you’re finished.
