Follow these steps for seamless operation of your pH Meter:

1.Remove the protective cap first.
2.Clean the electrode using distilled water and gently pat dry with filter paper.
3.Press the ON key to switch the meter on.
4.Insert the pH meter electrode into the solution you wish to test.
5.Stir the solution lightly and wait for the reading to stabilize.
6.Rinse the electrode with water after use to avoid contamination. Switch the meter off by pressing the OFF key.
7.Retain a few drops of distilled or ionized water in the protective cap before storing the electrode.
8.Always remember to replace the protective cap post-use.

To calibrate the pH meter:

1.Dip the electrode in standard pH 6.86(pH7.00) phosphate buffer solution and shake lightly.
2.Wait for the reading to stabilize. Adjust the calibration trimmer with a small screwdriver until the display shows “6.86”(“7.00”). Rinse the electrode with distilled water and dry with filter paper.
3.Now immerse the electrode in borax solution with pH4.01 or pH9.18(pH10.0).
4.Wait until the display shows “4.01”or “9.18”(“10.0”)—this might take a minute.
