Product Description:
This product, known as the Silent Step Stick Protector, is an extra module step and motor driver that is compatible with Pololu A4988. It protects the motor output using a flyback diode, also known as a free-wheeling diode, enabling it to resist induction voltage, even when there is no power supply to the driver.
The second version of this protector incorporates a diode from the logic voltage (anode) to the motor voltage (cathode), ensuring that all silent steppers maintain power sequence.
Primarily used for eliminating vibrations in 3D printers with a parallel arm structure, this device is especially effective for motors with lower resistance. It effectively rids uneven signal waves at lower speeds, resulting in relatively flat signals.
