Our Steel Tongue Drum is made from durable and high-quality alloy steel material with a finely finished surface that is both delicate and corrosion resistant. Popularly known as a Lotus Drum, it emits a pure, ethereal sound akin to a meditative, Buddha-like chant when played.
This 6-inch drum features a total of 8 tones in C key, allowing you to play a range of simple melodies. It is suitable for various purposes including music education, percussion concerts, mind healing, yoga meditation, and more.
In addition, this drum comes with a unique, hidden feature- a sound stopper at the rear that is capable of altering the drum’s timbre. When the sound stopper is installed, it gives a fuller and deeper tone with a shorter sustain, ideal for modern pop music. If the sound stopper is removed, the resulting sound is clear, louder, and longer, perfect for Chinese classical music.
Additional accessories include drum mallets, a drum mallet holder, music score, carrying bag, and a drum wiping cloth. One package includes a disposable KN95 mask, which is highly effective at filtration and comfortable to wear, ensuring protection against airborne particles and pollution.
