When connecting the microphone to a smartphone or a tablet, remember to turn on the “Real-time monitoring” switch with a professional app for live monitoring. Otherwise, BY-MM1 products only support playback monitoring.
When this microphone is attached to a camera, camcorder, or voice recorder, the BY-MM1’s monitor port cannot be used, and playback or real-time monitoring is not available. In such instances, connect to the headphone jack of the camera, camcorder, or voice recorder.
