Description: Meet the MLX90640BAB – A thermal imager designed for distance measurement with a small angle, field of view of 55*35 degrees. This device comes in handy when you need to measure temperature over a long stretch without losing precision.
Equally fascinating is its computer connectivity features. The device has PC compatible software (download link coming soon on 5.27) that permits a direct display of temperature imaging graphics on your computer screen. Along with this, the MLX90640BAB has a built-in microcontroller that serially transmits 768 distinct temperature data that you can directly visualize on your computer via the USB-TTL interface.
This thermal imager has retained the I2C interface of its original mlx90640 model, facilitating a direct interface with sensor chips by an external MCU when the PS gets connected to GND.
Here’s what you’ll enjoy in this nifty device:
- Factory calibrated MLX90640BAB sensor.
- An inbuilt 1000ma rechargeable lithium battery, chargeable via the micro USB interface.
- The unique screenshot feature for analyzing pictures.
- A temperature-adjustable screen color for differentiating temperature levels easily.
- A USB data transmission interface with a free upgradable system. In-built system version starts at 1.0.
