The Digital Battery Checker is equipped with features to assess the status and type of your battery, compatible with Li Ion, Li Po, Li Fe, Ni Cd and NiMH batteries.
Total voltage, minimum and maximum cell voltage and total cell battery capacity are just a few of the features displayed. Highlighted by an LCD backlight, the presented values are clear and easy to read.
It supports different types of lithium batteries (Li Po, Li Ion, Li Fe) ranging from 2S to 8S without the need for extra power supply. However, to test a 1S lithium battery, the CellMeter 8 requires a connection to a nickel battery larger than 3S or UBEC 5V through the NiCd/MH port to provide the necessary working power.
If you are using a nickel battery type (NiCd or NiMH), the CellMeter 8 is capable of supporting 4S-8S without an additional power supply. To test nickel batteries of less than 4S, the CellMeter 8 needs a 2-8S lithium battery to be connected to the Lithium port for power supply.
