Description
The product features basic functions, being able to measure the non-metallic coating thickness (such as paint, film, etc.) on the surface of a metal substrate swiftly and precisely.
The unit operates in two modes: Car and User. In User mode, the device can measure coating thickness of substrate material for calibration purposes. In Car mode, which doesn’t require calibration, the tool measures coating thickness of three substrate materials, namely iron, aluminum and zinc, making it suitable for estimating the thickness of cars.
The product has three switchable measurement modes for your convenience: Single measurement (SNG), continuous measurement (CTN), and difference value measurement (DIF). These can be easily toggled by pressing the MODE button.
User mode also offers three calibration methods: zero calibration, two-point calibration, and basic calibration.
The device provides both Metric and Imperial measuring units. To switch between mm(metric) and mil(imperial), simply press the UNIT button.
This tool has wide-ranging applications, opening up uses in fields such as automobile manufacturing inspection, metal processing industry, chemical industry, and commodity inspection.
