A quick tap on the button activates or deactivates the backlight while pressing down for three continuous seconds gives you access to the overload power settings. The default setting for overload power is 4.4KW. In this setting, a short press of the key boosts the value by one while a longer press of two seconds displaces it. You can set the maximum to 99.9KW. After 5 seconds of inactivity, the device exits and saves the data.
For a complete system reset, a prolonged press of 5 seconds will do the trick. This reset also clears the total power accumulation and resets the “overload power setting” back to its default value.
A nifty feature to note: six full-screen functions are displayed including an overload alarm backlight. It flashes should the present power capacity fall below the overload setting, calling your attention. Once power normalises, the overload alarm ceases.
Please keep in mind, for the 100A meter, you need to have it connected to the CT. Remember to maintain consistency in the threading direction and the direction of the transformer arrow.
As far as compatibility goes, this robust device fits the bill for most household appliances.
