Introducing our brand-new, guaranteed top-quality circuit tester. This handy tool allows you to connect the RED clip to the + terminal and the BLACK clip to the – terminal of the power source of the circuit under test. Remember, the supply voltage should not exceed 18v DC to ensure safety.
This tool is incredibly versatile. For TTL and DTL, simply set the upper select switch to the side marked “TTL”. Conversely, for COMM, you should set the upper select switch to the side marked “CMOS”.
The beauty of this device lies in its responsiveness. As soon as you contact the probe pin to the point being tested, the brightly coloured LEDs indicate the logic states:
A: ALL LEDs OFF —- gives an indication of HIGH IMPEDANCE
B: RED LED ON —— signifies a HIGH STATE [ 1 ]
C: GREEN LED ON — indicates a LOW STATE [0 ]
D: ORANGE LED ON — indicates a PULSE
The feature-rich device also allows for detecting and storing pulse or level transition. All you have to do is set the lower select switch to the side marked ” PULSE” first.
Once that is achieved, just make contact with the probe pin to the point to be tested. The LEDs then exhibit its basic state. Following that, set the lower select switch to the ” MEM” side. Now, the orange LED will light when any pulse or level transition is sensed, identifying pulse direction in comparison with the original basic state. Remember, after use, reset the logic probe by setting the lower select switch back to the ” PULSE” side.
