It offers five working modes, allowing you to select an appropriate mode as per the object you wish to detect. The detector adopts an LCD display with a backlight feature and can swiftly detect wood, metal, and AC wires that are tucked away behind the walls, floors, and ceilings of your residence. The device has the ability to specify if the detected metal is magnetic and is suitable for both industrial and domestic settings, including home decoration and renovation, wall decoration installation, equipment installation, and maintenance tasks.

Multifunctional Design: This product is capable of detecting studs, metal, and unshielded AC live wires. It can be used on slats, wallpaper, wood floors, acoustical ceilings, painted walls, and more. This makes it a great tool for safety during installations such as TVs, cabinets, garage racks, etc.
LCD Display: The backlit LCD display is designed in a way to allow the indicator bar to rise and the percentage to increase as the scanner approaches a stud. The LCD exhibits a full indicator bar and the buzzer generates a continuous sound when the center of a stud is located. Additional features include a signal bar, center indication, and metal depth indication.
5 Working Modes Design: The product comes with five working modes including the 1/2″ stud scan mode, 1″ stud scan mode, 1 1/2″ stud scan mode, metal mode, and AC mode. Choose your mode based on the object you aim to detect.
3 Stud Scan Modes: The three stud scan modes can detect wood or metal studs upto various depths. These include 13mm deep for 1/2″ stud scan mode, 25mm deep for 1″ stud scan mode, and 38mm deep for 1 1/2″ stud scan mode.
Metal Scan Mode: Primarily used to detect steel bars, metal keels, metal pipes in walls. The detection of magnetic metal can go as deep as 3.2 in. (80mm)(diameter15mm galvanized steel tube), while non-magnetic metals can be detected up to 2.4 in. (60mm) (diameter 13mm copper tube).
AC Scan Mode: Majorly used to detect live (AC) wires in the wall. This mode can detect an unshielded AC live wire up to 2 in. (51mm) deep and even has an interactive calibration feature.
Easy to Use: Glide the tester across the desired surface to detect STUDS, metal, rebar, pipe, AC wire, etc., the object can be scanned from left to right.
Wide Application: Suitable for diverse scenarios including both industrial and domestic use, home decoration and renovation, wall decoration installation, equipment installation, and maintenance tasks.
It is important to note that this stud finder is intended for dry interior walls only. The sensing depth and accuracy may vary due to moisture, material content, wall texture, and paint. Please note that this stud finder is not designed to scan dense materials such as ceramic floor tile, carpeting and padding, lath and plaster walls, foil-covered insulation board, glass, or any other dense material.
