Please note, if you’re new to using a lathe, it’s recommended to operate at low speed, slowly and cautiously. The speed can be adjusted up to 8000R, but when cutting wood, it should not exceed 4000. The drill chuck axis, the axis of the wood, and the tailstock center axis of the drill should align in a straight line, or you’ll need to adjust the nut. If you’re not working on a cylinder, reduce the speed. The tailstock bearing should not be locked tight. If you’re unsure about any operation, it’s best to consult a professional.
