The current setting runs from 0.1-20.00A with the smallest step of 0.01A, the device also offers an automatic limit on current when power is exceeded.
Engage in two testing modes: DSC-CC and DSC-CP. DSC-CC is designed to maintain constant discharge current which is useful for testing battery capacity or supply current. On the other hand, DSC-CP keeps the discharge power constant, an essential feature for simulating constant power equipment or testing power.
When it comes to voltage testing, this device is equipped with a range from 0.000-4.500V (low pressure) with 0.003V accuracy and a margin error of ±0.5%; or, 4.50V-30.00V (high pressure) with 0.01V accuracy and also a margin error of ±0.5%. It executes the current test ranging from 0.10-20.00A with an accuracy of 0.01A and a similar margin error of ±0.5%.
For the capacity test, the resolution imparts up to 0.001Ah for 10Ah, 0.01Ah for 10Ah-100Ah, and 0.1Ah for anything above 100Ah. A maximum dataset of 200W for discharge power is permissible with a recommended long-time working control within 90%.
The four-wire detection scheme ensures separate voltage and current channel wiring for accurate measurements. Visualize all your testing data including voltage, current, capacity, time, etc. on the convenient LCD display. For advanced functionality, the tester is enabled with a dedicated USB to TTL serial port (mini USB port, requiring a specific USB cable). This gives access to features such as curve plotting, automatic current testing, calibration reference, and equipment upgrading.
